WEST
VILLAGE DOG OWNERS GROUP TO HOLD FUNDRAISER FOR GULF ANIMALS
NEW YORK
– The West Village Dog Owners
Group (WVDOG) is hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday evening,
September 21st to benefit organizations who are rescuing
and helping the thousands of pets, companion animals and livestock
displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The event will be held at the Brass
Monkey Bar, 55 Little West 12th Street, next to the WVDOG
dog run between
Washington Street
and the West Side Highway. The event starts at 6.30pm.
Tickets, which will be available at the door, will be $20.00 and
includes 2 drinks and delicious food, courtesy of the Brass Monkey. All
money raised from tickets, raffle prizes and donations will be
distributed among several local rescue and shelter efforts in the
Gulf region.
